In Gadha Korma Village, Ali, a young farmer, is embracing new strategies to secure his livelihood through Transformational Community Development (TCD) training. With guidance from GHNI, Ali has diversified his livestock, shifting from goats and cows to more drought-resistant animals like camels. Ali also learned the importance of adapting to changing climate conditions. Camels, known for their resilience in dry environments, require less water and provide milk and meat even during droughts. This shift has reduced his dependency on vulnerable livestock and increased his household’s stability.
Ali’s success story reflects the growing impact of TCD initiatives in Gadha Korma. His decision to embrace new practices not only safeguards his family’s future but also inspires other farmers to explore sustainable solutions. With continued support, Ali and others are building a stronger, more resilient community.
Thank you!
