The Transformational Community Development (TCD) clinic in Saft El Laban helps thousands of poor patients who cannot afford expensive private clinics. Umm Akram shared, “I suffer from severe shoulder and back pain and cannot afford to go to the doctor in the city because I don’t have the money. The clinic in Saft El Laban is very close to my village, and the doctors are very friendly and offer love and encouragement to the patients. The doctor taught me some physical therapy exercises, and since then my condition has improved greatly. The pain has disappeared, and I can now carry things and move around without pain.”
