Samanvita* described herself as “A lady who desperately suffered but has now become self-sustainable.” The Transformational Community Development (TCD) lessons, training, and a little seed money supported changing her life and brought happiness to the family. She got seed money from GHNI to start goat farms and raise cows. She was successful and Generated Income sources from them.

Previously, it was so difficult for Samanvita to manage all of her family expenses because she had no other sources. She had dreamed of being financially sustainable, but she had no ideas or sources to work with. It has been more than three years since she has been involved in TCD and has kept learning and working. The GHNI TCD team helped and guided her a lot. At first, she was successful in poultry, but the second time, she incurred a loss because of transportation and marketing problems. She was discouraged and worried about it, but the TCD committee encouraged her to continue her work. Finally, she was successful.

Samanvita and her husband bought another milking cow. Now they have a couple of cows, so family income has increased. Yes, it is very impressive and amazing that because of TCD’s teachings and support, the community’s people’s lives transformed, and they found it easy to face problems.
