Sinon from the Zogbodomey region of Don Zoukoutouja has been a grateful beneficiary of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) Income Generation Committee’s efforts regarding the donated palm oil processing machine. He and his children have been processing the varieties of palm kernel available in their region, harvesting the precious oil that is then sold at the local market, and using the excess for cooking at home.

Since the machine underwent a change in its sorting methods last month, he and his co-workers have successfully been able to process three barrels of palm oil. This is a testament to the sustainable nature of what TCD can achieve in promoting progress even when applied in the most rural areas of West Africa.
