When the community acknowledged and understood the importance of children’s education, they started sending children to school. Every family has now become aware of it. A movement came, and the teaching of Transformational Community Development (TCD) lessons brought changes in the daily lives of the people. Before it, they had many false ideas about education, and they wouldn’t give priority to sending children to school. Now they want to offer a good education for their children. With the help of local leaders and a local church, forty children were provided copies (exercise books) and pencils. Because of TCD, community children got a chance to go to school. And community members also became able to afford necessary educational materials.

Not only are the people concerned about children, they are also involved in Income Generation and raising finances. The community has also become financially sustainable because of TCD’s Income Generation project. Now we plan to support the poor families in raising their income.

As we give TCD training and teaching, community people have started micro-shops, poultry, beekeeping, and animal husbandry, and it has been beneficial to support their children and family.
