As progress continues in the school building project, we are glad to share that the mayor of Tissale has taken an interest in the project, providing 40 tons of cement, 2 trucks of gravel, 3 trucks of sand, and 20 packs of iron to enable the continued construction of 5 classrooms and a nursery. The Transformational Community Development (TCD) Income Generation Committee was quite instrumental in the community taking the initiative to start the project independently. It has now attracted government support, which was initially solicited two years ago. Thanks to TCD teachings, the community of Attakasikoro began the project first, which then garnered the local government’s support.
