Sharada* was excited to know that Transformational Community Development (TCD) started in her village. She came to the TCD team and wanted to join the group. She took TCD training and wanted to start a duck farm because she had no income sources. The TCD committee decided to provide a little seed money and trained her to be self-sustaining by doing a duck farm.

Since Sharada started her duck farm, the ducks are doing well and the business is profitable. She is very happy, being successful in Generating Income. She is one of the most active people and has learned many lessons from TCD. Her income source helped her to manage her children’s school expenses. She had never imagined that she would gain this kind of success in life. Yes, because of the TCD program, change and happiness have come to her family. She wants to learn more from the TCD team and share with other community people what she achieved from the TCD program. Her neighbor also became interested in Sharada’s work, and she is also trying to do her best to become an inspiration for others.
