Recognizing the persistent danger, the proactive Transformational Community Development (TCD) Water Committee took the lead, identifying the problem and immediately mobilizing the community to seek a permanent, sustainable solution. This collaboration led to the selection of the bio-sand water filtration system, an affordable and effective method promising clean and safe water for every resident. This crucial step marked the turning point from a long-standing health crisis to a tangible project fueled by collective optimism.
