Update from Danchik
We were able to gather nine families and have a five-day Transformational Community Development (TCD) training about building a healthy family and raising children. This training helped people better understand each other, see problems in the community, and change them to build a better community.
Update from Kenzhebek
After our training, people are more aware of how to build a healthier family and raise children. We just started to travel to the village, talking to the people, getting ready, and encouraging members for this cause. During the summer, as soon as the weather is better, we will start digging a ditch.
Update from Raisa
How important is it to know where you are going? Now I (Raisa) know, and my husband fully supports me. With joy in my heart, I want to share with you our vision for our village and maybe for the whole country. Picture of the future: we see a hub where adults and children come for knowledge, new skills, and sports to improve health. A place where society will become more enlightened and will be able to change its future for the better.
This is our long-term vision, but what is being done about it now? We plan to start a new club for teachers of local schools starting in the new academic year. We are still at the stage of negotiating whether there will be one or two schools participating in this club. The teachers are the intelligentsia of this community. They have a vast influence on students and their parents, which is the entire population of the village. Teachers have a lot of responsibility and are in demand, but they have so little care and attention. If we help them and win them over, we will win over the entire population! Thank you for your continued support. We are open to suggestions and ideas from you.
