The Transformational Community Development (TCD) program offers important lessons on supporting women emotionally, socially, and physically, with the aim of empowering them to deal positively with their relationships and health. The lessons include raising awareness of the importance of regular monitoring of sugar and blood pressure levels, along with attention to their general health. In addition, a comprehensive medical caravan was organized to provide screenings of oral, dental, and physical health and to provide the necessary medicines to improve community health.

The great support during the screenings helped encourage women to take care of their health and follow up on treatment. It is worth mentioning that the TCD volunteers organized and implemented this clinic to serve and support women.

In this context, one of the women shared her experience, saying, “I was suffering from high blood pressure and severe headaches. After the examination and instruction on nutrition and treatment, I learned how to deal with high blood pressure. I also saw another woman suffering from gingivitis and toothache receive appropriate treatment.”
