We Don’t Kid About Goats!
A small goat loan has changed one woman’s devastating loss into an abundant and hopeful future.
Tume, a resident of Dembala Abba Chada Kebele, has faced significant challenges following the recent drought that devastated her cattle. As a dedicated mother of three, she has worked tirelessly to support her family. Her life began to improve after joining the farming association established by GHNI-Ethiopia, where she benefited from shared agricultural production. Additionally, she received a goat loan through the Transformational Community Development (TCD) partnership, which has since grown to four goats. These opportunities have not only provided tangible benefits but have also instilled a sense of optimism about her future. Tume now volunteers to organize the women who fetch water for their edible tree plantation.
Thank you!
