The Transformational Community Development (TCD) strategy and concept were very new and interesting to the village people. One of the participants, Bodhkumari, was impressed after the TCD training and said, “TCD is very good, and this is the first time I participated in this kind of training. I trust this can bring transformation to the people’s lives and see transformation in the community. People in the community will be self-sustainable.”

We formed a TCD committee of seven members. The committee is trained in the TCD program, and all the members are well taught about their duties, responsibilities, and roles in the community. Now they have decided to do formal meetings once a month and are fulfilling their roles. The TCD committee members and other participants were well engaged through this training, and participants were very inspired.

We organized a community cleaning campaign at the village. It was impressive to introduce our activities and draw the attention of all the village people.

We have distributed Rs. 10,000 each to 6 people to start businesses.
