Karmina shared what she learned and applied in her life after a Transformational Community Development (TCD) lesson. She shared, “I had a big problem–I didn’t like anyone taking my picture. I always thought I wasn’t beautiful, and all the girls around me were prettier and more beautiful than me. I used to avoid any group photos, and this made me feel embarrassed and sad, and I couldn’t accept myself. However, after I understood the TCD lesson about the creativity and greatness in creation, my perspective changed. I realized that I am a wonderful and important work! I looked in the mirror and saw the same image, but with different eyes. Because I changed my thinking, my view of myself changed. Now, I see in myself creativity, greatness, and wisdom.”

Karmina smiled and said proudly, “I am beautiful! I am filled with joy, comfort, and peace. Now I want to go to all the girls my age and tell them what happened to me. So they know that they, too, are wonderful and loved. Change your mind, and your life will change!”
