Balancing Both Worlds
Baromasia Village has found a healthy balance between two key components for a sulf-sustainable future.
In the month of July, our Transformational Community Development (TCD) focus was primarily on farming activities and continuing tutoring classes, aligning with the peak agricultural season in the region. Despite the increased workload due to farming, significant progress was observed in both sectors.
July marks a critical time for agricultural work, and this year Baromasia Village witnessed a notable improvement in farming outcomes. Favorable rainfall patterns contributed to better crop conditions compared to the past three years. As a result, all agricultural fields were actively cultivated, and none remained fallow due to water shortages. This has boosted the morale of local farmers and is expected to yield better harvests in the coming months.
Despite the demands of the farming season, tutoring classes remained uninterrupted and continued to operate effectively. In Baromasia, children from four different families have been attending classes regularly. This consistent participation highlights the growing recognition among both students and parents of the value of education. Their dedication is commendable and reflects a positive shift in the community’s mindset toward learning.
The month of July was marked by a healthy balance between agricultural productivity and educational commitment. The favorable weather, coupled with the community’s dedication, has laid a strong foundation for continued development in both farming and education in Baromasia.
Thank you,
