In Saraswatipur, many students—especially those in Class 10 (ages 15-16)—were reluctant to attend school or continue their studies. Some had even lost interest in preparing for their important board exams, which posed a serious challenge to their future. Without proper motivation and guidance, these young people risked falling behind, limiting their opportunities for growth and development.

To address this, regular Transformational Community Development (TCD) classes, practical activities, and motivational sessions were carried out in the village. The TCD worker, along with the Education Committee, personally visited homes, met with parents and students, and explained the importance of education for a brighter future. By listening to students’ struggles and encouraging them to stay focused, the team helped rekindle their interest in studies. This personal attention and consistent guidance played a crucial role in shifting attitudes toward education.

As a result, several students, including Nikhil, Joydeeb, and Anuj, who were once unwilling to attend school or take their exams, are now motivated and preparing to sit for their matriculation board exams. Their transformation has not only given them hope but has also inspired other students and families in the community. This renewed determination among the youth is a strong step toward lasting change and progress in Saraswatipur.
