In Gbessebu, the drive for education and the quest for knowledge are at an all-time high as the children return to school for another academic session. The school lacks a suitable structure for classrooms and is poorly equipped, lacking both adequately trained teachers and academic materials like books, chalkboards, or desks. A suitable structure is also needed since we have seen an increase in attendance. More and more of the villagers have become enlightened to the importance of education thanks to the introduction of Transformational Community Development (TCD) to the region.

The TCD champion noted this increase in attendance and is optimistic that support would be made available to enable the school to meet these changes and foster sustainable development.
