Manit* was facing financial problems and had no good sources of income. There are six members in his family and, due to the lack of income, he was unable to afford good education, food, healthcare, and clothing for his children, making it very hard to manage the family’s basic expenses.

He learned Transformational Community Development (TCD)‘s lessons through meetings, training sessions, and classes. He planned to start goat keeping as a source of income for his family. TCD also recommended goat keeping and helped him with a small amount of seed money. He arranged a little money of his own to buy goats and started goat keeping. Since the first year of starting goat keeping, he has earned a good income from it. He and his family worked hard and successfully established a reliable income source through goat keeping. Now, he is very happy and they celebrated the festival well this month.

The TCD program is very important for those who are struggling financially. This little help has changed Manit’s life. He still plans to venture into pig farming to further multiply his income sources. He shares his success story and encourages others to get involved in TCD activities.
