Anita* became successful in creating a reliable source of income with the help of our Transformational Community Development (TCD) program. She has a beautiful family of five members. She comes from a poor family and has faced many challenges in her life. There was no good source of family income, and they had to depend on day-labor work for their living. It was very difficult to manage the family’s expenses through labor work alone. Her husband did labor work, but if no jobs were available, the family often went without food that day. Therefore, Anita’s life was very difficult.

Anita joined the TCD classes, participated in activities and learned the lessons and teachings of the program. Inspired to generate income, she decided to start a sewing shop, which aligned with her skills and interests. The TCD committee provided her with a small amount of seed money, enabling her to start her shop. All the women in the community now visit her shop, and she has a good income. She no longer has to do day-labor work and has established her own source of income. She is very happy with her job and her ability to support her family.

Anita has become an inspiration for other women in the community. She also wants to encourage them to get involved in TCD activities. Many people in the community are still facing financial difficulties, and TCD has plans to help them soon. Thank you.
