Through regular community meetings and home visits, villagers are encouraged and guided toward holistic development. Special sessions were conducted on maintaining personal and environmental cleanliness, adopting healthy eating habits, and ensuring clean water and nutritious food for livestock. In addition, village youth were motivated to enroll in skill-based training programs that can generate year-round income, such as driving, automobile work, tailoring, and beauty parlor services.

Inspired by Transformational Community Development (TCD)’s education and support, one woman has been making continuous efforts to rise above the poverty line. Jyostna* is a resident of Dadpur Village and a mother of two sons. Her husband works as a mason, and Jyostna herself is a daily wage laborer. Poverty has been a constant challenge for the family.

Recognizing her determination and difficult circumstances, the TCD Committee supported Jyostna by providing goats to help her generate additional income through livestock rearing. With dedication and hard work, she later purchased two sheep, raised them for two years, and successfully increased her income by selling them. Using the earnings, she then purchased a small cow.

Today, Jyostna has become self-confident and strongly believes that livestock rearing will improve her family’s financial condition and enable her to support her two sons’ education. She remains focused and actively engaged in both her work and cattle rearing.

Jyostna expressed her sincere gratitude to the TCD Committee and the TCD program for their financial support and guidance, which have played a crucial role in transforming her livelihood.
