Tumpa, a dedicated member of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) group, lives with her husband and two school-aged daughters. Though hardworking, Tumpa’s family faced continuous financial instability. Their small agricultural income was not enough to meet household needs or support their daughters’ education. One of Tumpa’s biggest challenges was the lack of capital to invest in farming. She needed a small agricultural loan, but no local sources were available, and her family’s situation kept worsening. At this crucial moment, she approached the TCD committee with her problem. Understanding her need, the TCD committee, through GHNI, provided Tumpa with a timely loan to support her agricultural work. With this help, she was able to buy seeds and necessary tools to cultivate her land properly.

The results were remarkable. Tumpa’s harvest improved, her income increased, and stability slowly returned to her home. Today, she proudly supports her daughters’ education and continues to participate actively in the TCD group, inspiring other women in her community. Tumpa’s journey shows that when opportunity meets determination, transformation becomes possible.
