With his exams just around the corner, Abiba received a visit that meant more than any textbook could offer. Members of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) Education Committee came to his door, not with grand promises, but with something far more valuable—their time, their presence, and their belief in him.
During the visit, a quiet need came to light. Abiba’s mother had mentioned, almost in passing, that the family was struggling to get by without soap. The committee listened, and they acted. Very quickly, soap was sourced and placed in Abiba’s hands, a small gesture that carried the weight of genuine care. Standing barefoot in the yard, holding his little bundle, Abiba’s expression said everything words could not.
The committee left him with warm and heartfelt encouragement to keep pushing, to keep working hard, and to finish this third term right where he belongs, at the top of his class. Every child deserves someone in their corner.
Thank you!
