Sanjay* had no income sources, and his life was full of sorrows, lack of money, no food, no healthy life, difficulty solving the basic needs of the family, and inability to afford a good education for his children.

Transformational Community Development (TCD) creates wonderful opportunities for people to become financially sustainable by raising income sources. Because of the TCD program, Sanjay was inspired to start goat keeping, but he had no money for it. TCD helped him with seed money, and  he began by buying two goats. He and his family followed the TCD teachings and participated in every TCD activity and goat-keeping training. Inspired by TCD, he started to work hard on Income Generation and understood the importance of being financially self-sustainable. It’s a wonderful thing that he was able to multiply the number of his goats. This month, he needed some money for children’s school admission, and he got it by selling one male goat and thus successfully supported his children’s education. He knows that money for his children’s education comes from goats so he wants to be an entrepreneur doing goat-keeping. He encourages his community by sharing his success story.

TCD teachings, lessons, and a little seed money became a great opportunity for Sanjay to raise an income source and to achieve financial success. Many people are going to change their life situation because of TCD, and the TCD team in the community will do their best to bring transformation.
