During these times of insecurity in the country, our Transformational Community Development (TCD) team was able to encourage children to embrace the importance of education, creating awareness among parents about the need for their children to attend school. Many parents still prefer sending their children to work on farms instead of going to school, so our discussions focused on helping them understand the long-term value of education. However, the government has temporarily closed all schools and universities across Mali due to the ongoing fuel scarcity crisis. We continue to hope that the situation will soon improve so that learning activities can resume.
