Before participating in Transformational Community Development (TCD) activities, Mr. Wakil depended mainly on seasonal and irregular labor work, which provided unstable income for his family. Although he desired better financial stability, he lacked a clear business plan and direction for improving his livelihood.

Through TCD training, he learned key principles such as careful planning, regular saving, wise investment, and using locally available resources. He took time to observe the needs of his community and spent one year preparing before starting his business. By applying these TCD principles step by step, he successfully opened a small grocery shop, creating a steady income source for his family while serving the village.

This month, his grocery shop continues to run steadily, and his family’s financial condition has improved as a result of consistent income and better money management. He plans to expand his shop by increasing product variety and improving infrastructure while encouraging other villagers to apply TCD principles for their own livelihood development.

Mr. Wakil’s story demonstrates that when community members faithfully apply TCD principles, lasting change becomes possible. His transformation matters because it not only strengthens his own family but also inspires the entire community toward self-reliance and sustainable development.
