At fifteen, Hiba struggled with reading English. At school, her English teacher made fun of her when she stumbled over simple words, which made her feel sad and afraid. Every time she saw an English text, she felt a knot of fear in her stomach. When Hiba joined our Transformational Community Development (TCD) English course with Miss Margo, everything began to change. Unlike her school, TCD was a place full of support and kindness.

Miss Margo helped Hiba patiently, and she slowly began to improve. Even though Hiba still read slowly, she started doing it without the fear she once had. The encouragement from Miss Margo and the friendly atmosphere at TCD lessons made a big difference. Now, Hiba feels much more confident. She no longer dreads reading English and is tackling the language challenges with a brave heart. She shared that the love and peace she felt at TCD lessons were crucial in helping her overcome her fears and become more courageous. Hiba’s new confidence shows how a little support can lead to big changes.
