The Geneva Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (GILPP) was honored to host Professor Mattia De Rosa of the University of Genoa and Professor Fabiano Pallonetto of Maynooth University as lecturers at our annual conference in Geneva, Switzerland. Each year, GILPP organizes a conference in partnership with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) for policy makers and leaders from emerging economies to learn and discuss some of the most pressing issues of our day – especially those related to development and poverty. This year’s theme was on the rapid urbanization we see taking place around the world. Professors De Rosa and Pallonetto not only delivered fascinating lectures on the RES4CITY initiative, clean energy, education, and employment opportunities, but also led a breakout session with some of our delegates from across the globe to get more in-depth into the topic. GHNI and GILPP are honored to be partnering with Professors De Rosa and Pallonetto and the whole RES4CITY team to promote this innovative initiative in the 30 countries in which we work.
