One young girl learned the value of forgiveness as she joyfully mended her relationship with her sister.
We hosted a Transformational Community Development (TCD) Christmas event in Ajloun for nearly 50 children, where we sang songs, played games, and distributed Christmas gifts together. The joy and excitement on the children’s faces were evident as they took part in the festivities. Many of them shared that this was their first Christmas event, and they were grateful for the opportunity to learn important values, especially about forgiveness, which was a central theme of the event.
Rama, a beautiful 7-year-old girl, shared a touching story during the event. She told us that she had a fight with her sister the day before because her sister had taken her doll, and they hadn’t spoken since. However, after hearing about the importance of forgiveness, Rama decided to go home, hug her sister, and forgive her. She explained that she wanted to be a kind-hearted person, and forgiving her sister was the first step towards that. Her story reflected the powerful impact of the values shared at the event.
Thank you!
