In Shri Ambra Village, many children used to view studying as a punishment rather than a joyful experience. Their interest lay more in playing than in attending school. Observing this challenge, the Education Committee recognized a serious problem and approached the Transformational Community Development (TCD) worker for guidance.

With coaching from the TCD staff, the committee decided to start a tutorial center that focuses not just on academics but also on the holistic development of children. The center aims to make learning fun and engaging. One touching story is that of Mahi, a 6-year-old girl who had previously dropped out of school. Thanks to the collective efforts of the community and encouragement from TCD facilitators, Mahi has now been re-enrolled in school this year.

Children in the village have also received new books, and their attitudes toward learning have changed noticeably. They now come to the center with smiles and excitement, a clear sign of the impact of TCD activities. The tutorial center is community-led, with TCD workers continuing to support and coach local volunteers to make this initiative sustainable and impactful.
