Tools to Thrive
Provided school supplies open the door to a brighter future through education.
In a modest neighborhood in Cairo, Sudanese children were preparing for the start of their new school year. Many of them didn’t have school supplies, and the anxiety was evident in their eyes—how will they write? How will they learn? This month, Transformational Community Development (TCD) distributed school supplies, including pencils, pens, and pencil cases. Receiving these supplies wasn’t just a fleeting joy; it was a sense of care and belonging. One of the children, Haitham, said with a big smile, “Now I can write like my friends.”
These simple tools mean a new beginning for them, because education is not just lessons at school; it’s a door to a better future, a hope that transforms minds and lives. We believe that supporting education for refugee children is a duty we all have to bear. When a person’s mind is changed, their entire life is transformed for the better.
Thank you,
