Miss Gbessay is a 48-year-old woman with five children who, though very resilient, struggled to find and collect water for drinking and household use for her and her family. The challenge continued until Transformational Community Development (TCD) supported the community with a borehole project.

After gaining access to safe drinking water, she expressed gratitude, as this innovation has produced a noticeable impact on the health of her family. In her own words, the water they previously had to make use of was a “yellowish solution,” which even then was scarce. With the provision of the TCD borehole, her family’s health has improved, and there is no more cause to struggle to find clean water.

The TCD Water Committee and the entire community are committed to sustaining this new development, which is most welcome and needed.
