January 2026 was a turning point for the community as the Transformational Community Development (TCD) Education Committee introduced the need for evaluating progress. When the Education Committee, led by Mr. Tchadjobò, reviewed the first-term results and presented them to the Chief, the atmosphere quickly grew heavy. Nearly 70% of the students preparing for their first-term exam in May had failed. The numbers were impossible to ignore, and they stirred concern among the leaders.
Rather than accept the situation, the Chief resolved to act, announcing a general meeting in the coming days so the community could come together, confront the challenge, and search for solutions to secure a better future for their children. We look forward to a brighter year in the Kouvome community.
Thank you!
