Unfortunately, since the coup in Bissau a few weeks ago, most of the information we have received from the region has focused on progress reports for ongoing TCD projects rather than on specific success stories.

Following the most recent meeting with community members led by our Transformational Community Development (TCD) champion in the area, we focused on clearing and fencing a portion of land for the community garden project. Over the past month, community members were able to procure wire netting for this initiative. Their latest meeting was optimistic, as they anticipate beginning new agricultural practices in the coming weeks—steps that will contribute to a more secure and sustainable future.
