In the Zarayeb area of Ezbit el Nakhl in Cairo, a new location has been opened to serve as a center for community development, empowerment, and transformation. Transformational Community Development (TCD) is currently working on developing and equipping the center to better serve the local community.

To introduce the new center to the community, a seed project was implemented before Easter, in the form of a shoe fair offering footwear at discounted prices. With offerings of half-price shoes, many families benefitted and expressed joy at such tangible help.

Through local partnership, humanitarian support was also provided to families most in need by distributing 50 boxes of food and 50 chickens to poor and vulnerable households in the area, helping to ease living burdens and strengthen the spirit of community solidarity.

In addition, a group of local community leaders was selected to begin training in the TCD program, with the goal of preparing leaders who can contribute to the development of their community and lead sustainable community initiatives.
