After 20 years of practicing farming, Mr. Ibrahim’s farm was no longer yielding as much as he would like. The level of development he was expecting no longer seemed forthcoming, so he decided to participate in Transformational Community Development (TCD) with the hopes of experiencing some change.

Just when he thought he knew it all, Ibrahim embraced TCD, which helped him see new ways of farming. Through TCD, he learned the importance of bush fallowing, crop rotation, and shifting cultivation, among other innovative agricultural practices, which have helped improve his crop yield significantly. He is now better able to support his family and live a more comfortable life.
