In Elwapathar Village, several families faced challenges such as school dropouts and the lack of basic sanitation facilities. Many children were missing out on education, while some families had not yet prioritized essential needs like the construction of toilets.

Through the Transformational Community Development (TCD) committee, meetings were conducted under the guidance of TCD coaches to inspire and support the community. The TCD lessons encouraged villagers to take practical steps toward improving their lives. Personal visits and meaningful conversations with families helped address specific challenges, including motivating parents to send their children back to school.

As a result, one dropout child, Sagen, has rejoined school following discussions with his parents. In addition, one family has taken the initiative to purchase bricks for the construction of a toilet. These small yet significant steps demonstrate that TCD is fostering positive change and inspiring transformation in Elwapathar.
