Locally Led Development

Participants from several walks of life joined together to learn more about engaging their communities in transformational development.

Habiba, Wubshet, Madison, and Trey conducted a ToTCD training in Isiolo, Kenya, during the second week of August. We had about 16 participants, some of whom were existing GHNI staff who had not yet been trained, some were staff from an engineering partner organization who are interested in Transformational Community Development (TCD) and locally led development, and a few participants from Burundi. The training went quite well, and many participants expressed a desire to implement TCD in their communities.
