No one is left out in Kouvome. The Transformational Community Development (TCD) program is truly inspiring the entire community to recognize that their struggles are interconnected, and they all need to work together. The locals pulled some finances together and contributed to a purse, using part of the funds to purchase fabrics to make uniforms for school-aged children who could not afford school uniforms. The Education Committee is tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that the process of giving out the uniforms is transparent and equitable, so they will work with the community leaders to identify beneficiaries.

This initiative is encouraging more people to participate in the community. There is also a plan to contribute towards gifts to reward hard-working children and make these efforts part of the community’s ethos. TCD is not just providing material benefits but is fostering unity, mutual support, and a sense of purpose.
