Truly Accepted and Valued
One young boy is experiencing deep delight in finding acceptance, friendship, and care at House of Ruth.
Ahmad, a bright 9-year-old boy, had been eagerly awaiting the Christmas event at the House of Ruth in Ma’in. The place was filled with nearly 65 excited children, and as the team performed a heartwarming play about love, Ahmad watched with wide eyes, captivated by the kindness and warmth the characters displayed. When the play ended, the air buzzed with laughter and joy as each child received their Christmas gift. Ahmad, clutching his gift with a huge smile, walked up to the team with an enthusiasm that matched the festive spirit of the day.
With a heart full of gratitude, Ahmad shared how much his life had changed since joining the House of Ruth. He explained how his English had improved greatly, thanks to the supportive environment and the caring Transformational Community Development (TCD) mentors who helped him every step of the way. He had become more confident, more social, and had made many new friends. Ahmad’s face lit up as he spoke about how much he loved being part of House of Ruth, where he felt truly accepted and valued. It was clear to everyone that the House of Ruth had given Ahmad not just a place to belong, but also the opportunity to grow and thrive.
Thank you!
