The Bomborma community has made significant strides in improving sanitation and water access, with a focus on constructing Ventilated Improved Pit (VIP) latrines and identifying a site for a water well. The community successfully constructed a VIP latrine, providing a safe and dignified sanitation facility for community members. This achievement has significantly improved the community’s sanitation and hygiene practices, reducing the risk of waterborne diseases. The latrine was constructed by the Bomborma community, using local materials, ensuring community ownership and sustainability. The chief head of the community even decided to add beauty by painting the toilet.

After conducting a thorough survey and assessment, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) community identified a suitable site for a water well. This site has been marked and prepared for drilling, which is expected to commence in the next quarter. The water well will provide a reliable source of clean water for the community, reducing the burden of fetching water from distant sources and improving overall health and well-being.

The construction of VIP latrines and the identification of a site for a water well demonstrate the community’s commitment to improving their living conditions. With continued support and partnership, the community is poised to achieve even greater success in the coming quarter.
