From a state of poverty and a lack of sustainable income, the community of Don Zoukoutoudja is transforming through the implementation of Transformational Community Development (TCD) ideals, most notably those of Income Generation. Through the donation of a machine for processing palm oil, members of the committee now realize a monthly income of about 20,000 FCFA ($34.50). This development has the TCD Income Generation Committee optimistic regarding the next farming season and members of the community eager to practice and pursue other areas of TCD.
