Watering the Community

The community is gaining hope through plans for a borehole that will provide sustainable drinking water.

The members of the Don Zoukoutoudja community have been faced with high mortality rates due to a lack of drinking water. Thanks to Transformational Community Development (TCD) and the arrival of a champion, John, plans have been put in place to build a borehole with a solar-powered water pump to supply water to the community and the nine other surrounding villages. TCD has brought renewed hope to the people as they anticipate the Water Committee working well with the leadership of the village in order to ensure sustainability.
