In a small village called Al Dawadia, Um Ayman patiently endured many challenges. She was a simple woman, loving her home and children. Despite her battle with fibrosis in the lungs and frequent bladder infections, she never lost hope. She held on to peace, knowing she was greatly loved.

Through the Transformational Community Development (TCD) class, Um Ayman heard about an initiative to install water filters in needy homes. She was in dire need of a filter to protect her and her family, but she did not want to declare her need in front of anyone, so she just hoped in her heart that her needs would be known. And, indeed, she was known, as the official chose her household as one of the families for which the filters would be installed. At that moment, joy and deep peace filled her heart. She was seen and cared for.
