In Shobra Al Kheima, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) program provides a safe space for adolescents. Led by Ms. Nardine, the program aims to provide emotional, social, and moral support to adolescents, enhancing their confidence and maturity to face the challenges of growing up. Ms. Nardine meets with the teen girls weekly to provide counsel and help them navigate their daily problems in a warm, family atmosphere of love and respect. This safe environment has fostered a relationship of mutual trust and made the girls eagerly await the meetings. This program demonstrates the ability of kind words and a safe space to make a positive change in the lives of adolescents and to plant the seeds of a confident and mature generation.
