Harmony Restored
Harmony is restored to a marriage through dialogue and communication.
Mirna had been married for two years. She entered marriage with many dreams, but she did not know how to express herself. She found it very difficult to talk with her husband. Her words were betraying her, and silence often turned into a misunderstanding. Over time, differences began to burn between them for the simplest reasons, until married life became heavy on her heart. Mirna was feeling sad and helpless, wondering inside if this was how marriage should be.
One day, she heard about a Transformational Community Development (TCD) family awareness class. Hesitating a little, she decided to attend, hoping she would find an answer to her questions. During one meeting, the class studied a book entitled “A Harmonious Married Life.” The book dealt with the role of the husband, the role of the wife, the importance of dialogue and communication, how to listen with respect, and how to express feelings without anger or injury.
Mirna sat listening intently, as if the words were written specifically for her. She came to understand that marriage is not an arena of conflict but a partnership based on love and understanding. She learned that quiet dialogue is stronger than screaming and that a good word opens closed hearts.
Mirna returned home with a new spirit. She began to apply what she learned and changed the way she spoke to her husband. Since then, they have been living more harmoniously.
Thank you,
