This month, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) group of Baromasia, led by the TCD coach and his wife, held a TCD class in the village. The purpose of this session was to help families understand the importance of education, income, and hygiene and how these principles can bring long-term change to their lives and community.

Before the TCD activities, many families in the village did not prioritize their children’s education. The children struggled with reading and writing, and most of them were irregular in school. Parents were unaware of how education could transform their children’s future and improve their overall quality of life.

Through the TCD session, our coach and his wife encouraged families to focus on their children’s learning and future. After the training, three members—Sunil, Simon, and Rajam—were especially motivated and decided to send their children to the TCD-supported tutoring center. As a result, the children who once struggled with basic literacy are now improving steadily and studying with greater confidence.

Currently, the children from these families are studying in Class Two and showing noticeable progress. Their parents are happy and have started encouraging other families to value education as well. Our plan is to continue promoting education in the community so that more children can go to school and build a brighter future. This ongoing movement is gradually helping the entire community become more aware, hopeful, and self-reliant.

This story reflects the positive and growing impact of TCD’s education initiative in the village. The community is beginning to realize that education is the foundation for lasting transformation—not only for individual families but for the whole village.
