Focused Intervention, Improved Performances
Students thrive when they receive support, care, and guidance from invested adults.
This quarter, the Transformational Community Development (TCD) workers in Kiwanjani Village focused their efforts on providing counseling sessions for students at Ntulili Primary School. The TCD trainings aimed to address key challenges the students were facing, such as drug abuse, truancy, and school dropouts. As a result of these focused interventions, the school has seen a notable reduction in drug-related issues, improved attendance, and a decrease in dropout rates. The positive impact extends beyond behavior, as the students’ academic performance has significantly improved following the counseling sessions.
The success of this initiative demonstrates the effectiveness of the TCD approach in addressing both educational and social issues. By equipping the students with the support and guidance they need, the Kiwanjani community is creating a brighter future for its younger generation.
