Bieni is the Transformational Community Development (TCD) Champion for Yelivio. Shortly after he got connected with some TCD practitioners in the middle of 2023, he held a TCD vision casting meeting with the village chief and elders. They caught the vision and, since then, have demonstrated that they are invested in TCD to an appreciable degree. 

Recently, Bieni got together with the chief to chart a course for the village’s development journey and figure out strategies to engender community participation in TCD programs and projects going forward. With TCD beginning, things are looking up for the Yelivio community. It is indeed very heartwarming to see that the leaders are driving change from within the community.
