During our Transformational Community Development (TCD) classes, we paired activities and motivation together. This has encouraged other villages to become involved in the TCD movement.

I want to share something about Mechbasti and Saraswatipur, two of our TCD villages. When our TCD committee visits, we listen to family problems, social problems, health problems, and financial problems, and we try our best to talk through solutions to their problems.

This month, I taught about Education because many children were dropouts from the school. We found they did not understand the importance of an education. We decided to send them to school again, and some of our committee members have taken action for these children.

We also spoke about Wellness, finding many villagers were suffering from fevers, colds, and coughs. We organized a medical camp where more than 60 people received treatment.

Neha is an active entrepreneur and committee member of Mechbasti. She has a husband and a child. After she joined TCD, her life changed. She had no way to make a regular income to support their family since she was not educated or financially strong. TCD has been a blessing and has become a turning point in her life. TCD lessons encouraged her to learn new ideas and helped her to be bold. Now, she is starting a kitchen garden and buying a goat to make money to support the family.
