Committee Members Move Educational Mountains

Kouvome is eagerly embracing the mindset of transformation for the whole community.

Educational scholarships funded by members of the Transformational Community Development (TCD) Education Committee benefitted 20 Kouvome primary school children. It is often said that education is the bedrock of development. It is to this end that the committee took up this responsibility of providing scholarships in order to encourage increased attendance in school and to help those who are about to drop out due to a lack of financial help.

Kouvome locals, having embraced TCD less than a year ago, are demonstrating a mindset change in the area of education, a necessary ingredient for any meaningful transformation.
