Slowly Growing Trust and Friendships
Step by step, the community is beginning to trust and appreciate the care and lessons.
My work with teachers is in the embryonic stage. Every time I teach a Transformational Community Development (TCD) lesson, I’m afraid they will tell me, “This is your last lesson.” However, fear should not paralyze me. In June, I helped organize a conference for teachers. I invited one teacher, Zhypar, who is my daughter-in-law. She heard the testimonies of other teachers, and the seed was sown. We will water it and hope that it will grow. I also completed courses on “metaphorical associative cards.” This will help me in working with teachers and women. Women in my community are waiting for counseling to begin.
Thank you!
